Formerly known as the LINK Access Program, Brew Camp is a collaborative program designed to assist competitors in the World Brewers Cup and other competitors in the week leading up to their competition.
Established in 2024, this initiative sees our team provide competitors with access to roasting equipment, training space, and any other assistance they need in their competition preparation.
In 2026, Nucleus Coffee Tools will partner with the official WBrC Grinder Sponsor, OPTION-O, to provide competition grinders to practice with, and Black Potion Coffee for a space for competitors to prepare and train. In addition, LINK sample roasters will be available for competitors of the World Coffee Roasting Championship to practice with.
More details will be announced closer to the event dates.
Brew Camp is intended only for national qualified competitors who are taking part in the 2026 World Coffee Championships in Brussels.
This initiative is designed as a way to provide resources and training space to competitors traveling from across the world, in order to create a more equitable and balanced competition, and to celebrate the community of coffee competitions.
Competitors of these competitions, as well as their coaches and translators, are invited to apply for training time(s) after registration. Please note that availability for training space and equipment is limited, and will be subject to availability.

Brew Camp 2026 offers competitors in the World Coffee Championships with resources, assistance and training space in the week leading up to their stage time.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Access to LINK sample roasters for practice and coffee roasting
- Access to and practice time with the OPTION-O Lagom-01, the official grinder of the World Brewers Cup
- Assistance with roasting, brewing and training routines
- Guidance with local resources, including water, equipment and miscellaneous items
- Feedback and judging, if desired
- And much more
Each competitor traveling to take part in these competitions does so at great personal expense, and with the amount of equipment, practicing, tasting and much more, the process can often be stressful.
In 2026, Brew Camp will be seeking the assistance of a limited number of volunteers to help these national competitors, and create an ideal environment for their competition preparation. Volunteers will be able to observe and learn from the best brewers and roasters in the world, and enjoy some incredible coffees in the process.

No. There is no official training space for the World Coffee Championships.
Brew Camp is a team-led initiative by Nucleus Coffee Tools, and in 2026 will be undertaken in collaboration with OPTION-O, and hosted by Black Potion.
Brew Camp typically takes place up to 7 days before the commencement of the World Coffee Championships in the host city. For the World of Coffee Brussels, the dates have not been confirmed.

First and foremost, Brew Camp is a space for training and collaboration. Competitors are offered the space and time to practice for their competitions, as well as the advice and feedback of skilled professionals (if desired). Training times will be divided into 1.5 hour slots, with options for additional training times subject to availability.
In addition, Nucleus Coffee Tools offers the use of and assistance with the LINK sample roaster to practice and prepare competition coffee. In 2026, OPTION-O will be provide several grinders for competitors to practice on, as they are the official grinder sponsor of the WBrC.
Competitors who require an espresso machine (eg. World Coffee in Good Spirits competitors) may have limited options for training space. Space will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.
If you require any other resources (eg. help with equipment, shipping, or any small problems), please make a note of this on your application form.
All competitors representing their country are welcome to attend. However, we will have limited space and limited access to an espresso machine, meaning that training times for your competition will be limited.
We still advise you to apply, but also advise that you seek alternative training options if wanting extending training periods.
No. All equipment and tools provided in the Brew Camp 2026 must remain at the training space, and cannot be taken elsewhere.
Unfortunately, no. Brew Camp is a space offered only to competitors at the World Coffee Championships – in this case, World of Coffee Brussels.
This is not a public event, and is not open to anyone other than competitors and their team (coaches, translators).

If you have not yet competed in your national competition, there is no need to apply early to ‘reserve’ a spot. Everyone will be provided with equal opportunity to reserve training times.
